Sylvia was hired initially because of her good English skills.
A written agreement was entered into for Sylvia to work as a customer service representative.
Our company went to great lengths and expense to set her up with telephones and infrastructure to connect to our operations in Australia.
Everything went to plan on her very first day of employment and we were looking forward to a great working relationship.
On day 2 she vanished, no phone contact, no Skype, no emails.
We have been unable to contact her now for 2 weeks.
She has kept the telephone + infrastructure we couriered to her valued at $400.00 AUS.
All up in equipment, courier, IT setup etc she has cost us $1000.00 AUS for 1 days work.
Looks like this was a scam to keep our equipment and sell it.
WARNING; stay away from this employee.
