I am a restaurant professional with over 20 years experience in the food & beverage industry. My experience includes being General Manager of high volume establishments: a restaurant, bar & nightclub in New York City and operations for multiple QSR's at a major entertainment destination in South Florida. I have been involved in all aspects of running a restaurant, from the business/financials to back of the house/kitchen operations to front of the house/customer service. In addition, I focused on maximizing sales by utilizing social media to interact with clientele, organizing live music & themed events, and creating partnerships with organizations to create unique customer experiences. Alongside my time in the food & beverage industry, in 1997, I co-founded MusicDish, LLC, a music/new media company. I focused on developing business models for the then "new" digital marketplace in the content publishing/syndication field. I launched and was editor of various music publications in the urban, Latin and business fields. MusicDish was also active in managing/promoting artists & music companies online, employing social media marketing before the term "social media" existed. I was also a regular speaker and panelist at music/new media conferences, such as CES, New York Music & Internet Expo and CMJ.
