I am currently enrolled on an IT course to refresh and update my skills in this area to ensure I have up to date knowledge to be successful in an Administration role. I will gain a Level 2 ECDL qualification.

Responsibilities:
• Sorting the mail before rounds, prioritising loads and organising routes.
• Working as part of a team to get everyone's deliveries arranged on time.
• Being responsible for delivering to area covering approx. 10 miles each day.
• Being vigilant and adhering to security measures.
• Collecting customer signatures and completing all associated paperwork.
• Communicating with customers on a daily basis offering high standards of customer service.
• Coaching, training and carrying out inductions for new starters showing leadership skills.

-Worked as European Transport Manager for Archbold Freightage Ltd - Morley from 1999 to 2001
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the recruitment and running of Owner Operators to drive trailers to and from Italy. Archbold were already operating out of Leeds and wanted to open a European Department in their UK office in Daventry. In the two years I worked for the company I built the Daventry Office to a 13 owner driver operation. Responsible for the efficient operation of the office on a day to day basis. Source export loads. Constant liaison between drivers and clients. Organise ferry and channel tunnel bookings.

-Worked as Administration Manager for Knights of Old Ltd - Kettering from 1982 to 1999
Responsibilities:
Responsible to the Managing Director. Responsible for the efficient operation of the forwarding department, including export, import, deep sea, airfreight and European trailers on a day to day basis. Recruiting, training and developing staff. Administration and control of the ISO 9002 Quality System. Internal inter-departmental audits of the Quality System.

-Worked as shipping clerk for RCF Tools - Crawley from 1977 to 1982 for both manufacturers and freight forwarders.

-Worked from 1970 - 1977 - Employed in the office environment both in the UK and Western Australia.
