Police Skills are recruiting for a Priority Crime Support Officers in Bristol on a 1 month ongoing contract. You will assist with the full and expeditious investigation of sector/district crime in order to bring offenders to justice.

Role
• To complete enquiries in the course of an investigation of a criminal offence for which a person is detained.
• To interview and process detained persons (including those in prison) suspected of offences, including obtaining and preparing TIC schedules.
• To transport arrested persons from place of arrest to police stations and to escort detained persons between stations and/or other locations as directed.
• To prepare prosecution files, including upgrades of files to not guilty and committal standard.
• To obtain additional statements and other documentation as may be required to complete files or investigations.
• To attend court to give evidence.
• On occasion, to assist with identification procedures by escorting witnesses and taking statements.
• To obtain and execute search warrants, seizing evidence and carrying out searches as designated by relevant legislation, eg The Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984.
• To gather, record and disseminate intelligence as required.
• The post holder must hold a full current driving licence as there is a requirement to transport detainees around the force area.
