Uniquely experienced naval nuclear propulsion plant manager highly motivated to use his technical expertise and leadership experience to contribute to a worthwhile team, lead nuclear professionals, and solve complex technical problems in order to advance the nuclear energy industry through safe reactor development, operation, testing, maintenance, and policy.

Justin Sarlese believes the advancement of safe, clean, and reliable nuclear energy will be necessary to meet the nation’s energy, economic, and environmental needs.

In his opinion, the US nuclear energy industry’s long-term success will require 1) renewing and maintaining the public’s trust in nuclear safety, 2) building and operating economically competitive nuclear plants, and 3) improving the nuclear fuel cycle. He recognizes this requires the hard work and collaboration of dedicated technical experts, business innovators, and strong leaders.

He intends to leverage his experience in the US Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program, develop expertise in the commercial nuclear energy industry, and make a positive, lasting contribution to the nuclear energy sector.
