Assigned as senior lead x-ray technician supervising a staff seven during my service period at Naval Hospital Orlando, Florida
Assigned as lead Radiologic Technician at Naval Hospital Roosevelt Roads in Puerto Rico.
My responsibilities and duties include performing instructional guidance and mentoring of junior medical corpsman in the areas of routine x rays, fluoroscopy, x-ray procedures, contrast material, intravenous pylograms, emergency and operating room, operations and the utilization of portable x-ray machines.
My collateral duties included being the senior enlisted duty watch officer and security advisor on a rotating watch schedule. Responsibilities included but were no limited to: investigations of staff involving dereliction of duty, illegal seizure and utilization of controlled substances and medications, equipment, supplies and medical electronics. All formal investigations included the collections of eyewitnesses for the collaboration of testimonies against the accused in preparation for review by the Chief Enlisted Security Officer prior to formal charges being levied.
