An ambitious and forward thinking psychology graduate, who enjoys challenges and can produce high quality work under pressurised conditions. With over five years local government experience in a diverse range of positions, I communicate excellently at all levels in all mediums. My current position in strategic research has given me knowledge of the economic and cultural changes facing the UK. This includes research and techniques on how best to face these, such as customer insight & segmentation, workplace efficiency, big society, channel shift, and employee and public engagement.
I have excellent research, policy and analytic skills that I hope to develop further in my current and future work. I am highly ambitious and have done all I can to expand my skills beyond what my role requires: from coaching people for Institute of Customer Service awards, to training in Facilitation Skills and Prince2, to coming third in a Local Government Chronicle Mini Challenge where, as teams, we took on the role of a management team trying to improve a failing fictional local authority.
