-Used MS Access and created a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) including corrective action and preventative maintenance work-orders. Also created a purchasing and spare parts inventory system.
-Improved equipment up-time instituted preventative, & planned maintenance. Lead a number of Lean Kaizens.
-Equipment included: Vacuum furnaces, electric fired batch furnaces in addition to typical industrial equipment.

-Within this world class steel foundry I supervised, coordinated, & joined a small team of millwrights, in caring out industrial maintenance on a shift. Installed, commissioned, maintained, & decommissioned equipment & facilities.
-Equipment included: Pumps, gear boxes, motors, furnaces, conveyers, cranes, & measurement devices.
-Facilitated 5S & Kaizen events, & lead other Lean Manufacturing initiatives & practices. While working for 8 months as a Value Stream Manager, I managed two production paths (value streams) through the plant. I optimized manufacturing flow by creating pitch times, developing and single-handedly building And-On boards (activity tracking), and reduced processing times while increasing product quality and man-power productivity.
